I've been doing this work - on myself first and then later in support of others - for over 10 years. It began after several losses prompted me to start looking at my life with fresh eyes, and then to bring attention to all of those places within myself I'd been avoiding; to start truly coming into relationship with myself. And to be clear - I'm still doing it.
This journey has involved workaholism, injury, chronic pain, shame, heartbreak and a lot of self-doubt. I've learnt to turn towards myself, again and again, every time I find that I've turned away. I've been supported by a number of practices and teachers, including therapy, Circling and meditation.
I think the world needs more people who are willing to bring themselves in all of their glorious, messy humanity into their families, their friendships and their work. It is my hope that my work contributes to this.
