I qualified as a therapist in 2021 and soon after stopped seeing clients. I had realised that I wasn't ready yet - I was hiding behind the role.

A line that has inspired my journey since is from Carl Jung, who said "the most terrifying thing is to accept oneself completely." I've made a path of coming into relationship with the parts of myself I have rejected.

This journey has involved workaholism, injury, chronic pain, shame, heartbreak and a lot of self-doubt. I've learnt to turn towards myself, again and again, every time I find that I've turned away. I've been supported by a number of practices and teachers, including therapy, Circling and meditation.

I now work as a therapist supporting others as they journey to come into contact with themselves.
